I’ve also had a lot of fun jamming with fellow musicians – you can find people to jam with in some unexpected places! That’s why I like to bring a guitar with me wherever I go. Spencer Scharf delivers a down home acoustic folk rock / roots sound with flat-picking, finger-style guitar perfection and a wailing harmonica. With more instruments than a surgeon—banjo, resonator, keyboard & uke—he’s a total event on stage. Spencer has a deep pocketful of songs influenced by the likes of Neil Young, Eric Clapton & Woody Guthrie and a stage presence that shows a maturity beyond his years. He’s performed at the Ottawa Bluesfest and Folk Festival, the Governor General’s residence, countless events around Ottawa, and further afield. Come on out and meet Spencer Scharf this summer at the RBC Royal Bank Bluesfest!
